Johnson - Reggie Wayne

Reggie Wayne Johnson, 47, of 407 Hughes St., died at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital. He was employed at the A & P supermarket here for 20 years and was produce manager. Mr. Johnson was a World War II veteran, serving with the Army Air Corps. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. A son of Fred and Edith Hamilton Johnson, he was born in this city Nov. 29, 1921. He was married here in April of 1942 to Norma Jean Scott, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. (Janice) William Cook of Crawfordsville and Miss Deborah Johnson, at home; a granddaughter; a sister. Mrs. Anna Wilson of Crawfordsville, and three brothers, Eddie and Paul “Shorty” Johnson of Crawfordsville and Harold Johnson of Willard, Ohio. A sister preceded him in death. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Don Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. – jlr
